Our client is seeking an experienced after hours manager for their 120 bed facility in eastern Melbourne. If successful you will assist the DCS and Nurse Unit Managers with:
Facilitating and supporting the department in the delivery of high quality care and service Leading and Developing the team to its full potential Promoting a culture of quality improvement Promotion of a safe working environment Management of staff and patients
To be eligible you must be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing education and development and previous experience as a key part of a management team. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care and outcomes as well as having a high level of motivation.

The hospital are seeking an AHPRA registered Mental Health nurse with strong clinical & leadership skills to lead the unit. The successful candidate will be operationally responsible for the unit. Currently offering acute voluntary mental health illness care and a new ECT service, the unit is expected to expand to include community mental health services.
To be considered for the role you need:
- Fantastic clinical experience within the field of Mental Health nursing - Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills - The requisite skills need to initiate and implement quality programs - Highly advanced leadership qualities - Ability to network and work within a multidisciplinary environment - Computer literacy
While a previous managerial experience isn't necessary, it would be considered very favourable.
