This region has long been Australia’s favourite holiday playground, with tourists flocking year after year for the sunshine, theme parks, beaches, al fresco living and of course the promise of lots of fun. However, during this time many have discovered that there is a lot more substance to this location than a yearly 2-week vacation. Spanning a huge coastal and slightly hinterland strip between Brisbane and the New South Wales border, the area is as diverse in scenery as it is in the cultural make-up of the nearly 500,000 and rapidly growing residents. An excellent choice of world-class facilities and services, together with housing options in a multitude of settings to suit all tastes are complimented by a relaxed holiday-like lifestyle.
