Registered Nurse, Surgical Services Ward, Major City Hospital.  Our client service is the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne and a major provider of specialist state-wide services to the people of Victoria.

They currently have a number of positions available and are seeking enthusiastic registered nurses who are looking for an opportunity to secure a fixed term or permanent position within a surgical services ward. Speciality areas include:


Trauma / Orthopaedics
Neurosurgery / Neurotrauma
Specialist Surgery
Burns, Plastics, Vascular and ENT units

To be successful for a position with this outstanding  service you will be a high performing nurse who is patient focused, motivated and enjoys the challenge of working in a busy environment. Significant recent experience in acute nursing is essential.

Clinical Nurse - Surgical Unit

Remuneration value up to $99 031 p.a., comprising salary between $81 025 - $86 796 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6)

The Clinical Nurse performs at an advanced level of surgical nursing practice and supports the delivery of competent, best practice, quality nursing care. The position plays an important role in guiding and supporting other nursing staff and working in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the management and development of clinical services.

This service is located in a coastal Queensland town of population approximately 60,000.  The city enjoys around 300 days of sunshine a year and therefore lends itself to abundant outdoor activities.  Come and enjoy the Queesnland sunshine.
