If you have considerable experience in recovery and are keen to experience one of Queensland's hidden gems then look no further. This friendly and well established team has 1 opening for a recovery / PACU nurse within the team. The theatres deal with a wide range of surgeries including ENT, Oro-Facio Maxillary, Orthopaedics, opthalmology, urology and plastic and reconstructive surgery. You will need to demonstrate a broad range of skills and a commitment to high quality care.

Post graduate qualifications or more than 36 months experience in recovery are highly regarded.

Our client is seeking a highly motivated manager and clinical nurse to  lead the scrub/scout team in this 12 theatre suite. The post would report to the perioperative manager so you will be well supported in the role. The hospital is well regarded across Sydney for its expertise in Cardiac, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Colorectal and Orthopaedics & Spinal Care.

The role has responsibility for the day to day operational management of the 12 operating theatres and your key performance task is to support and lead the team of scrub/scout nurses them to achieve excellence in line with best practice and legislative requirements. An ability to further develop a positive team culture is essential.

To be eligible you must have the following:

    Minimum 5 years post graduate clinical practice in a peri-operative environment
    Previous management experience which includes experience in rostering and staff allocation
   High level communication and interpersonal skills
    An ability to work through  challenging situations and efficiently manage resources
